Alchemist
The Alchemist seeks to understand the inner workings of all things — first and foremost, themselves.
Your life is an endless quest for meaning and a journey of self-exploration. Through your own inner excursions, you navigate and map the full range of the human experience, driven by your fascination with life’s mysteries.
Introspective and emotional, you see into the heart of things, and your greatest gift is your ability to find wisdom in any experience. Having touched your own depths, you understand that even darkness has its purpose. And that, Alchemist, is your magic: helping others learn to see in the dark and find the gifts in their struggles.
While you have a flair for the mystical, you don’t get lost in abstraction. Instead, you mine the richness of the present moment. Your intuitive nature is grounded in a clear-eyed pragmatism, and you have no problem rolling up your sleeves to dig into the issues at hand.
Through your own creative processes, you’ve come to understand the cycles of dissolution, transformation, and renewal. You’re not afraid of endings, because you know that true transformation requires confronting what’s no longer working — outdated structures, rigid identities, false assumptions — so that something new can take root. And this is where you find gold: in the reconstruction of what was into something of greater value and meaning.
You’re drawn to deep inquiry, stripping away illusion and revealing hidden truths. Though quiet and reflective, you have a powerful voice and a gift for giving expression to the indescribable. You’re a natural writer and teacher, with a depth of awareness that cuts through the noise. Above all, you’re here to remind others that the revolution starts within.
Don’t get lost in your inner world, Alchemist. Your personal quest for wisdom plays a vital role in the collective work ahead. Log your 10,000 hours and focus on honing your craft so that you can bring forth your insights for the benefit of all.

My thoughts:
I love this. The deep inquiry/ stripping away illusion and revealing hidden truths resonates. And that my purpose is to remind others that the revolution starts within. My work helping others in recovery is doing exactly this!
High5 Strengths
1. Empathiser
2. Peace Keeper
3. Believer
4. Philomath
5. Coach
My Thoughts
No surprises there. I'm a classic middle child who empathises naturally and keeps the peace!! Intrigued by the 'believer' (holding strong to my values and beliefs and struggling if I have to go against my principles) as I wouldn't have pegged that for myself as I tend to people please but on reflection, I can be quite stubborn when it comes to things I truly believe in and holding true to my values.
The philomath loves learning. And returning to full time study for me recently has definitely awakened my soul that was utterly mired by nearly 2 decades working as an Executive Assistant in the state government. I have been craving learning and 2 weeks in to this Diploma, I am feeling alive!!!
Emotional intelligence test

My thoughts:
Pleased but not surprised. I have been around and aware of my strengths in emotional intelligence. I am trusted by others and can easily empathise and connect with a wide range of people.

INFP - The Mediator
"Mediators are poetic, kind, and altruistic people, always eager to help a good cause."
My Thoughts:
First thought: Need to find out how to get rid of the green behind my text!
Second thought: It all matches up with the above results. My High5 top two strengths are empathising and peace keeping which in my eyes is mediating!
Overall thoughts:
I don't know how my strengths align with design YET but as far as working well with others, communicating, negotiating and understanding the needs of others, these skills will come in handy in the workplace and help with relationship management internally and externally with key stakeholders.
